Plank 194. Pro-Life:

Abortion is not healthcare, it is homicide. Until the abolition of abortion is achieved, we support laws that restrict and regulate abortion, including but not limited to: (a) through (l)

Add Plank 194:

(m) Supports legislation to protect unborn life from conception by:

Requiring IVF clinics to submit annual reports to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission detailing number of embryos created, the number and status of those in cryopreservation or storage, and outcomes for any discarded or transferred embryos;
Mandating protections for embryos once created, including protocols for transfer of custody in the event of clinic closure, abandonment, patient death, or divorce, to ensure they are not destroyed without due process;
Requiring clinics to provide patients with written information about embryo adoption programs and resources prior to any cryopreservation, empowering families to choose life-affirming options.
